As we rapidly approach another highly anticipated National One season, we are excited to introduce our 2026/27 1st XV squad.
While 34 players have re-signed from last season, we also welcome a number of new faces to the squad, all of whom will be itching to pull on the red, white and blue.
Powerful back rower Arthur Ellis will take on the role of club captain heading into the new season. The experienced loose forward has amassed more than 150 appearances for Park and will be eager to lead the team as they push towards the top of National One.
With experience and depth needed throughout the campaign, Park have strengthened the squad in several key areas. Watford-born second row Danny Cutmore joins from Ealing Trailfinders, Cornish Pirates and Saracens, while also taking on a lineout coaching role within the team. Alongside him, hooker Fred Davies arrives following spells with Bristol Bears and Doncaster Knights and will also serve as assistant forwards coach.
The pack is further strengthened by back rower Donnacha Byrne and second row Alex Ashton, who both arrive from Richmond. Meanwhile, Liam Elston makes the trip down the M4 to join Park from Rams.
The front row is also bolstered by Jasper Lawler, who joins from Newcastle University after previously representing the Epsom College 1st XV.
Finally, Dutch international lock Marijn Huis joins us from London Scottish, having already featured in Park colours last season while on loan. We also welcome back Archie Hosking following his spell with Bedford Blues.
Moving into the backs, former Leinster Academy scrum-half Jack Matthews arrives from Lansdowne, while experienced Championship fly-half Josh Barton also comes to The Rock.
That wealth of experience is further enhanced by the arrival of Rory Jennings, who boasts an impressive rugby CV including spells with London Irish, Cardiff and Clermont Auvergne.
Jennings won’t be the only back looking to make his mark in Park colours this season, with Will Simmonds joining from London Scottish alongside Mason Archer, who arrives after impressing for Cardiff University in BUCS Super Rugby.
Finally, Park adds further depth at scrum-half with Alex Jones joining from CS Stags, while Charlie Coe brings plenty of pace and excitement to the back three.
Prolific try-scorer Luke Mehson has re-signed for another year, while veteran winger Charlie Walker and long-serving Park player Joe Luca Smith will also be back for another season.
The pack will also feature plenty of familiar faces from last year, with Charlie Piper, Maurice Nwakor, Max Fraine and Conrad Cade in the front row, while Jake Cleet, Tom Bell, Cameron King and Harry Ledger are also all back at The Rock.
The coaching team will once again be led by Steven Neville, alongside Amy Turner, Matt Gordon and Danny Mays. Alongside their playing roles we also welcome Fred Davies and Danny Cutmore to the coaching group as assistant forwards coach and lineout coach respectively, while Byron Chambers joins to support Dan Mays in a strength and conditioning role.
Fergus Farrell returns as Team Manager, with Diego Cost continuing as GPS Analyst. Once again, Lorraine Allen heads up the physiotherapy team.
